4th of July

What an AMAZING weekend I just had! I, along with 4 friends, went to my hometown of Prescott, AZ for one of the best Independence Day weekends I've ever had! We camped in Lower Wolf Creek on Friday night and I can't tell you how heavenly it was to fall asleep under a blanket of stars, breathing in the delicious pine-scented mountain air. Had Quincy not been snoring like a chainsaw, the evening would've been 100% perfect. The next night, we rented a room at a...shall we say...budget-friendly motel? Make that EXTREMELY budget friendly. Katie was actually denied an extra towel and the shower curtain ended 1 inch above the ledge of the bathtub, allowing water to pour over and flood the floor every time someone showered! I normally would NEVER settle for such accommodations, but this was literally the only motel with vacancy left in town! Needless to say, we'll be reserving a room at The Prescott Resort MONTHS in advance next year. The night ended well though, with all of us having a blast at the rodeo dance and out on the town! I was especially happy to run into many familiar faces...I LOVE PRESCOTT! Another plus about this past weekend was really getting to spend time with my friend Katie. She is HILARIOUS! I can't believe we've all only known her for 8 months! Thank heavens Quincy met her...she makes all of our lives a little sweeter...and spicier! Ciao for now!
